Newport Medical Solutions is starting a new division that will implement NextGen Healthcare Information Systems, Inc suite of products into large specialty practices. This new Nextgen implementation division will serve Newport Medical Solution’s already successful Ortho Revenue Solutions division and well as new client NextGen implementations.
Newport Medical Solutions, www.NewportMed.com, is currently seeking qualified candidates for all initial NextGen implementations but also a candidate who is familiar with Template Builder and report Report for EMR. The position is responsible for analyzing, customizing, developing, and implementation of the NextGen Electronic Medical Record templates, documents and Crystal reports (EMR) NextGen Certifications are highly desired.
The qualified candidate will: develop, test and document NextGen EMR templates according to design specifications. Develop, test and document NextGen EMR clinical documents and reports using standard SQL based query and reporting tools. Assist in the development of project plans by providing accurate development estimates. Lead team meetings as needed. Maintain and troubleshoot existing NextGen EMR

Job Requirements Qualifications:
Candidates must have 1-3 years of experience working in a healthcare related entity in an information systems technology capacity, as well as experience in application development, system administration, technical quality assurance, technical support or training. Candidate must contain a strong technical experience with NextGen EMR application. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience required.
Excellent customer service and communication skills. Candidate must possess strong communication, presentation and analytical skills and a strong customer service commitment.
